The challenge
Device-specific connections can fragment an application experience. The project explored a portable API that could connect an application with IoT devices.
The engineering work
Mesab designed and implemented the cloud API, built a light-switch control application, tested it with the API and presented the working outcome.
Outcome & context
The light-switch application was tested with the API. Support for 20+ devices describes the intended scope, rather than a claim of a commercial fleet deployment.
Why it matters
A technical foundation for connected applications and device control, subject to the reliability and access requirements of each future use case.
